What a treat to be back in Paterson and Fair Lawn! I’m staying with my brother and sister-in-law Jon and Ellen Green Taner, and anticipating meeting so many people who emailed and face booked in recent weeks about my historical novel Beyond the Silk Mills.

Please check out reviews on line from two great journalists:

Helen Pincus at the Bergen Jewish Link http://www.jewishlinkbc.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5528:the-falls-runs-through-it&catid=150:news&Itemid=562

and Joann Palmer at the Jewish Weekly Standard http://jstandard.com/index.php/content/item/life_beyond_silk/

Marvin Perdomo and friends interviewed me for a video in support of Paterson, NJ renewal. Jon and I had fun with him and his ‘crew’ and I hope that I helped in some small way to further Marvin’s dream about reviving community pride in my hometown.

Today, 11-16,  I’ll meet folks at the Fair Lawn Public Library (10-01 Fair Lawn Ave., Fair Lawn, NJ 07410) at 2 pm and The Teaneck General Store (502A Cedar Lane, Teaneck 07666) at 7 pm.

Come and visit!
